My teacher is sick :( I think I am coming down with something too. So tomorrow's painting class is off.
Today was a good work day. A great work day.
Tonight, talked with Larry about cars. It all started with a conversation about religion and that turned into cars. I think that must be Nirvana.
The mood I'm in now, I think I want to take off a day of work, again, and paint that Daytona 1970 Pit Stop.
You know here's the correlation between what was, what is, what will be, cars, software, NASA and the whole nine yards.
I can tell you.
It's about humanity - the grunge, the chaos, the life, the stories...
Countering this is a well meaning "perfecting" of the rough edges through process and controls. No doubt, things get "better"... by just about any measuring stick...
EXCEPT...
Except... what?
Where are the Daves, the Brads, the Marks, the Frankies, the Larrys, the Rob Baileys, the Brian Elmores, the Charlies...???
It's the names replaced by the numbers.
PS: Only a few, like #43, can make a number a name.

What about "Big Daddy" Don Garlits? Man, it was cool! This year, in NASCAR, I'm pulling for Office Depot "#14" Chevrolet.
