Hour Two

Took Kaley to church this morning.  She's headed to a bordertown in South Texas to help build houses and stuff.  I'm on hour two cooking the brisket.  Yesterday was fun.  On t.v. there was a surfing competition followed by motocross followed by Indy cars followed by NASCAR.  Did an experimental cooking of ribs.  Larry popped over.  We ate the ribs.  They turned out really good.  Then got to see Larry's catch of the day - a 21" fat flounder that weighed 4.5 lbs. or something.

I don't like planning parties because then everybody has to drag in or make some excuse as why they are busy or whatever.  I have a brisket going... and Kim is going to make beans and some sort of slaw... visitors welcome.  Think it'll be ready around 6 - unsure... cooking slow.

Unfortunately, the race is on cable today... so I guess it's just golf.  Oh well.
