Launch Day For The Vagabond Rocket

We put this rocket together over several days.  At first Kovi didn't like the idea.  Next thing he was saying stuff like, "Dad, engine mount assembly tonight, right?"

This morning the flag was dead calm.  The four roof turbines on the two houses across the street were all still.  I was up at 5:00 a.m.  I finished off the "lugs" (which Estes mis-sized).

Woke up Kovi at 9:00a.m.  Went to Centennial Park.  Such a great launch.  It was our first E engine.  The rocket is about 3 feet tall.

Great experience.
