First a little background. One day the CPOO said we were having a 6:05 meeting. The CPOO doesn't just say we are going to have a 6:05, he backs it up by saying a few days in a row, "So will you be at the 6:05?"
I don't attend meetings, but this 6:05 meeting is different. We really don't know when it starts or ends. As minute taker, I will give a history... but have to make this fast as I really need to work.
Meeting #1 Minutes
Wood I wanted to get some oak I saw while walking along an obscure trail... to make ribs for The Superbowl
- We bounced around ideas on getting it
- Where was it (out in the "woods")
- Who's truck we could use (Rusty's engine can't stop)
- Proper planning preventing poor performance (The Five P's)
- Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Stopping, Looking, Assessing and Managing the situation (SLAM)
- How much wood could Chuck Norris chuck
JJ Dynamite Myles wanted to see if anybody was interested in seeing JJ Dynamite - a rock-n-roll cover band
- Discussion covered location. It is a questionable establishment with many toothless people who like to fight
- Time of the event
- The headache I had last time I saw JJ
- Myles said, "They Jam, Bubba"
Meeting #2 Minutes
I missed this meeting since I went to Pho Yen and got the #2 noodle soup. But I was at the post meeting
Meeting #3 Minutes
Rock Garden I asked advice on "rock garden" for side of house.
Mark showed me his rock garden. He pointed out different rocks and where they came from. Talked about the benefits of rocks. How to lay the bed. Talked about one particular rock that he lugged from a field. The odd thing was that there was no other rock in the field. It was peculiar and large. We surmised the possibilities:
- A farmer might have used it
- Native Americans used it for cooking or as a fireside rock
- It was an alien meteor
- It was just a big rock in a field for no good reason
- There had to be some reason this rock was out in this field
- But why?
- This lead to my questions on building a rock garden for my frontyard... and was wanting to start in the side yard
- Not every rock in Mark's garden was "found". The memorable collected ones lie on just normal bagged rocks from streams or creeks by Home Depot.
- Carol Martin's laptop (Mark)
- JJ Dynamite Again (Myles)
- Lawn mower won't start (Keith)
- Read lyrics while Disturbed sang
- Found that I could read all over all the lyrics for all the songs and make my own song which was kinda cool
- Found Disturbed's music to be actually quite soothing
- Disturbed seems to be disturbed for the right reason
- Viewed recently framed ink drawing I did of Disturbed in 2007
