My next door neighbor needs a heart transplant. He's having to raise $300,000 before he can get on the heart transplant list. He's having a series of benefits.
I am making a painting to auction off. Actually, it is 9 paintings - together they make a heart. The picture shown here (deleted later because it will change) is what I'm calling H10 - (2nd row, 1rst column).
I plan on having them all framed in oak... and display them together... My tentative plan is to sell them individually.
Richard twisted my arm to do this... but now I am very happy to give it a go.
Each painting is 11x11... and the layout is 3x3 and I'm listening to Richard's 311... it all seems to be jelling.
If you haven't guessed... the arc cutting through the painting is part of the heart shape.

I think this is real, long time no see Mr. Real. I like Mr. Real.
Mr. Real skeedaddled.
Where did he go???
I'm looking.
If I can afford it, I'll definitely buy one.
P.S. I love that you're using zero-based addressing for your rows and columns; once a C-programmer, always a C-programmer.
