The Violation

Picture here is inspired by Frankie's comment, "maybe a "fresnel lens" blur effect over each face???" :-)

I woke up and told Kaley that if they rejected our display over the pictures that I thought we might just walk out and visit the Alamo.  She responded, "Yes!  Let's do that!"  I got all wound up and talked about "people" and "story".  I said that they laughed at the impressionists and said that it wasn't art and passionately explained that bringing in the pictures of the places and her was part of the science.  She said, "Yeah!  Take down the man!  We could see the Alamo and I wouldn't have to sit there and be judged all day."  I told her that this was the proper form of rebellion - we did the work, in fact we went thru a lot to get the pictures.

Turns out we needed to fill out a tiny inconspicuous sticky note that said, "Pictures taken of participant by dad."  Sometimes "the man" just won't let us fight him.  At the end of the opening ceremony I was even thinking, "You know, ExxonMobile is pretty cool."

That is hilarious! All ready to rebel and walk out and instead, a sticky note and a long day of judging. :-)
