I'm on vacation. Day #1, date with Kim: tacos, Alabama Ice House, Icecream shop on the way to Cactus Music followed by trip to door place. We have an appointment to replace garage/kitchen door.

Vacation: I went to South Padre to catch the swell from Hurricane Nicholas. Surf wasn't great but still fun. I got a shaka from a guy standing on the beach. Next day I met him. Turns out he was Guy Takayama - a champion surfer/shaper and nephew of Donald Takayama. I showed him my Model T. Found out that there is a board restorer who lives in League City - Evelio Castillo. I gave Evelio my Model T. Since the repairs require a couple months of drying out the board, I got a used board at Surfhouse - another Takayama (Double Ender I think)! That board was in pretty bad shape actually, so turned that to Evelio too! So, I'm boardless right now, so fishing.
