Charcoal In The Dark

I forced myself to work in the dark again. This forces me to think about tone rather than detail.

I had picked this 'composition' yesterday.

Again. I am happy with the results.

This is what I need to do. I know this. It is so counterintuitive to scribble. But composition/balance and tone need to come before color and especially detail. At least this is what I'm thinking right now.
