Secret Spot - Before The Storm

Yesterday, I watched the sunset here. It was so pretty.

Today, it was pretty as well, but I missed the orange & yellow. I wanted to show that. You can imagine how this looks glowing under a sunset.

But, the the thunder was awesome. I think it caused the placid water to ripple. I also saw a pair of wood ducks, a rare sight. The tree frogs, locust etc. are loud enough to just about drown out the distant Harleys.

Such a beautiful photo. I guess it's not too bad living here...

Yep. It is alright. You have to dig a little for the nicer spots. Not too many people are looking around here, so if you find something, you get a pretty solitary place.

If somehow we could cut the noise of the road... I suppose that is what the frogs and stuff are for.

I didnt realise there were such nice places, well full of water and trees in Texas, but then I only got to Houston and in the suburbs at that when I was last in America.

This happens to be in a suburb of Houston :-)

You have to search the suburbs for life.
