Tensegrity

Today, Frankie introduced me to "tensegrity".

Think this would be a good way to hang a hammock.

Tensegrity is the exhibited strength that results "when push and pull have a win-win relationship with each other."

I like it.

Reminds me of Van Gogh placing complementary colors side by side.

I think in "Little Man Tate", I remember him building a structure with pencils and rubberbands that was probably a tensegrous (???) structure.

This is a cool site to learn more.
