Two Years

1I consider July 4th my start date on painting. So happy two year anniversary to me.

This is a charcoal I did tonight of Van Gogh.

I've learned a lot. I hope I keep it up. I haven't drawn and painted nearly as much lately.

I had hoped to do something new, but really the canvas has been explored out the wazzoo.

At this point, I think Paul Oxborough is my favorite contemporary artist I've stumbled on.

Needed to work on this more, but it is late.

In September I think I will be able to see this painting in Van Gogh's homeland. Pretty amazing.
