Slate & Foundation

We called a contractor for these guys. Benefits:
  1. 50 Year Warranty (UV, 110mph winds etc.)
  2. Matches indoor slate
  3. All recycled and can recycle again
I'm guessing that it's going to be outrageously expensive.

Allied Foundation Repair is going to come out and level our house. I wanted to do it before redoing the kitchen. There are a lot of foundation repair "systems" out there. Allied's is simple and they back it up with a lifetime transferable warranty.

PS: I don't like this Pergo. It looks nice, but drop a coin on it and it sounds like you dropped a frying pan. When you walk on it barefooted, it has no warmth or give. It's okay though. You can't do everything.

No. I hate it.

Wow. Bamboo is a funny word. I must be tired.

good for you guys...

one piece of advice (having recently had foundation repair done)... you may want to have the family out of the house on the day the are jacking things up... it can be quite disturbing to see and hear the entire house move... and occasionally slam down as a jack slips or a piling moves...
