I didn't make her. Neither did Kim. She made us. Now she's listening to it... and learning the words.
I told her, "I just can't stand opera, but I wish I could like it, I want to like it... and maybe if you sing... maybe I could... I'd be so proud of you if you could make me like opera".
She's not trying to be weird. She is studying... and she was all into it and sang these crazy lyrics to me last night:
I am the very model of a modern Major-General,
I’ve information vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical
From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical;
I’m very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical,
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical,
About binomial theorem I’m teeming with a lot o’ news,
I’m very good at integral and differential calculus;
I know the scientific names of beings animalculous:
In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.
My goodness. It's funny, I was just reading about binomial coefficients and difference calculus (not differential calculus)... and there she is making fun of me... me the modern pyramid builder... oh... take it... grow... ha... I got some punch left... I can still swiffle and carbundee-zuzzle... not over... I shall not go down... but yeah... I know... nobody said that... down implies up... and why do I keep implying? As if!!? I can't speak! It's not me! I'm old! But I can swiffle... I can forget! Not so! Hmmm. Oh well. Grow! Be free!

You are the very model of a modern major wacko! :-)
Our girls are SOOO excited about the musical. And Hannah is very happy that Kaley will be in the production. It should be a fun summer!
Good to hear from you, Mike! There's lots of singing going on this house :)
